"Thank you for calling Unitrans, How Can I Help You?"

"Thank you for calling Unitrans, How Can I Help You?"

I officially answered my first Unitrans call as an OC; It's not THAT big of a deal, but I'm actually an AOC, I'm just filling in while my co-workers get lunch. Oh btw, I got lunch already so, no, my coworkers are not evil whores who left me answering phones while they eat.
Anywho, since I began writing this post I have answered around 10 calls and most of them have been pretty good, however some people are just soooo mean.
You know, as much as I hate the corporate world I really enjoy working in an office. I don't know if it's the endless supply of post-its, my love-affair with the copy machine (which is currently broken; makes me so sad!), or just feeling slightly like a grown-up.

I went to my orientation for Chile this morning; it was so amazing and made me even more excited to go. I am counting down the days. However, there is one problem: I have no money. What do I mean? I leave for Santiago, Chile in a month and I have yet to purchase my ticket. Additionally, there are other fees along with material, food, leisure money, etc.
I'll find a way to manage, though. I always do.

Every other Wednesday I get my paycheck. Throughout the day I think about how I should spend my money. Should I buy tickets to go home or a new pair of shoes? Maybe I should get new tanks and that adorable little royal blue cardigan I saw at Gap, perfect for the summer. OR MAYBE I can finally go to a nice place and get those cute tiny highlights and a good haircut, OR EVEN BETTER a new pair of designer jeans, Ksubis please! What about one of those new blackberries or an Iphone? At the end of the day I head downtown with all these spending ideas in my head. However, it always ends the same way: I go to Starbucks and order a Grande Caramel Frapuccino Lite* (one third the calories) then hop on the bus home where I grab my debit card and begin paying my bills.

one day I'll be able to spend my money on frivolous things.
'till then, let's hear it for responsibilities!

today listen to Girl Talk

p.s. whoever said Global Warming didn't exist has obviously not stepped outside ;)
